Tashir, Karmir Aghek and Aygepat communities will receive grants from Council of Europe to support local initiatives on ethics and transparency.
Strasbourg, France. On March 1-2, 2017 in Strasbourg city, heads of communities of Tashir, Karmir Aghek and Aygepat, along with the executive director of the Union of Communities of Armenia Natalia Lapauri, participated in the workshop under the following thematic program -"the EU within the European Council on 2015-2017".
2016 In November Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe announced a grant program for EaP countries (Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Ukraine and Belarus), as a result of which three communities in Armenia - Tashir, Karmir Aghegi and Aygepat, became winners through presented programs on ethics and transparency. During the two-day meeting round table discussions with community heads and heads of associations were held were presentations of winning programs were done and the grant agreements have been signed.
