Ddmashen community is situated 54 km. far from the regional centre. The village has been repopulated since 1928 by the immigrants of Maku city. It is situated 1800-1400 km. far from the sea-level. The village has a church, constructed in the 7-th century, which is called Tadnos. The village in 50 % is provided with drinking water and in 30% with irrigation water. The climate of the village in winter is frosty and in summer is mild. The dryish weather hurts the agriculture.
The village has 27000 inhabitants. Male population composes 51% of the whole population of the village. The administrative territory of the village is 4161.
