Tourism development perspectives in Armenian Communities - round table discussion

The purpose of the round table was to discuss the use of hotel tax with the involvement of stakeholders, to ensure the dialogue and cooperation between the representatives of communities, the state and the tourism industry, to create a dialogue between the key actors in the dialogue platform, to voice the position of the communities and communities in Armenia and make available to all partners.
The Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Development of the Republic of Armenia Mr. Varazdat Karapetyan, representative of Tourism Development Committee of the RA Ministry of Economy and Trade, Mr. Mekhak Apresyan, Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Armenia, as well as representatives of the Inbound Tourism Association, Yerevan Municipality, as well as representatives of the hotel sector, heads of enterprises and local community leaders participated in round table discussions.
Welcome speech was delivered by the Mayor of Tsakhkadzor, Head of the CAA "Touristic communities" group, Artur Harutyunyan.
The round table went in the atmosphere of interested and lively discussion. The parties exchanged views on various aspects of the sector's development, agreed to continue dialogue after additional information and relevant international practice research is carried out.
