Լ' Arménie organisera le prochain sommet de la francophonie en 2018, la Tunisie le suivant en 2020.
A l’issue du Sommet de Madagascar qui a eu lieu en 2016, les Chefs d’État et de gouvernement ont désigné les pays hôtes des deux prochains Sommets de la Francophonie.
