The Executive Director of the Union of Communities of Armenia, Armen Harutyunyan, met with the Director of the Renewable Resources and Energy Efficiency Fund of Armenia (R2E2 Fund), Karen Asatryan.

During the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities for cooperation aimed at promoting the development of renewable energy, improving energy efficiency, and implementing energy-saving initiatives in Armenia's communities.

Both sides emphasized the importance of actively involving local communities in the adoption of sustainable energy solutions, highlighting the significance of increasing energy efficiency, expanding the use of renewable energy sources, and strengthening the capacities of municipalities.

The parties agreed to continue their cooperation and to organize a meeting with community leaders in the near future. During the meeting, representatives of the R2E2 Fund will present the Fund's ongoing and planned programs, as well as opportunities for community participation and engagement.

The partnership aims to support greater energy efficiency in local communities, promote the adoption of renewable energy solutions, and advance initiatives that contribute to sustainable development.
