Armen Harutyunyan, Director General of the Union of Communities of Armenia, and Karen Asatryan, Director of the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Fund of Armenia (R2E2 Fund), held an online meeting with the heads of Armenian communities to discuss joint programs and initiatives in the fields of energy efficiency, energy conservation, and renewable energy.

During the meeting, the opportunities available to communities were presented, along with the areas in which the Union of Communities of Armenia and the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Fund of Armenia plan to provide joint support to communities.

It should be recalled that the Union of Communities of Armenia NGO and the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Fund of Armenia have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation aimed at promoting the development and application of energy efficiency, energy conservation, and renewable energy solutions in communities across Armenia.

During the meeting, Armen Harutyunyan once again emphasized the Union of Communities of Armenia’s commitment to supporting communities in addressing their challenges and needs. He called on community representatives to present their existing challenges and proposals so that appropriate support can be provided and effective solutions can be identified jointly.

“The Union of Communities of Armenia is open to cooperation with communities and is ready to provide support in any way possible. It is important for communities to present their challenges and needs so that we can discuss them and, within our capabilities, support their resolution,” said Armen Harutyunyan.
