In Sevan city 14 events were held in the framework of EU Sustainable Energy Week-2024. Sevan city has joined Energy week 4^th time.

In accordance with the topic of Energy Week, number of events were prepared and held, which started on May 27.

Films "Sisak, Misak and climate change" and "Sisak and Misak continue to adapt to climate change" were shown at the visitor center of "Sevan National Park", which was accompanied by an exhibition of paintings by students of Sevan branch of the National Center for Aesthetic Education.

In Sevan's No. 2 "Zartonk" kindergarten sport event was held.

The exhibition of thematic drawings at Hovhannes Aivazovsky Art School was another opportunity to reveal children's thematic perceptions.

In Sevan creative hub called “Nkugh” was held e discussion about renewable energy, green energy and energy efficiency. The attendees were devided into two groups trying to represent their point of views on the topic of energy saving. Both of the groups had the view that the role of sustainable energy is important for now and for future.

In Lchashen kindergarden thematic talk under the slogan “Sun and sustainable energy” was held. Children talked about sun and about the means how can energy be obtained from the sun.

Students of the art school of Lchashen welcomed the visitors and guests with an exhibition entitled "Green World", which was accompanied by a matinee entitled "We and Nature".

The flash mob, entitled "Sunny World" was held in the cultural center after S. Zakaryan.

 

In Sevan No. 4 "Galik" kindergarten - the topic of the lesson was environmental, which had the title "Let's save our planet".

The address of the next event of the week was "Heqiat" Kindergarten No. 3 of Sevan, where sports event took place.

The cycling race started from the city of Sevan and crossed the finish line in Gagarin settlement. Young cyclists once again reminded and highlighted the importance of sustainable energy and environmental issues.

More than 15 young residents of the community participated in “Net-zero energy solutions for a competitive Armenia” photo contest.

62 works were submitted to the drawing competition entitled " Net-zero energy solutions for a competitive Armenia’’.
