Dalarik village was founded in 1901 when the Tbilissi-Yerevan railway was built. The first was the railway station building. The railway station has been named Mastara Station, which is connected to the Mastara Selavi water main, which passes through the nearby canyon. The village is located in the pre-mountainous zone of Aragats on the former semi-desert area. In 1960, families from the Dian and Shenik villages of the Talin region were resettled in the village, followed by many regions of the republic and from the Akhalkalaki region of Georgia. The settlement was named Dalarik.
