Pambak (Population` 404)

  • Community Services ` The community has one culture house, which also operates the library. In December 1988, during the earthquake the stone building collapsed; instead, in 1990, a temporary temporary club building was built, where the house of culture was functioning. Periodically, motion pictures are shown, the current library has 4026 books, whose condition is normal. Because of lack of sports grounds, the village youth is deprived of sports games, football games are organized on the school playground.

PAMBAK was established in 1894. In the vicinity of Vanadzor-Alaverdi interstate highway, in the Left Valley of the Pambak River. People  moved to Pambak from the neighboring village of Karaberd. The main reason for moving from Karaberd was the railway.
