On August 7, 2020, the ceremony of awarding prizes to the winners of competitions organized by the EC ′′ Agreement of Mayors-East ′′ project and Union of Communities of Armenia within the framework of the European Sustainable Energy Week, Akhtala.

The ceremony was welcomed by Mr. Arkadi Tamazyan, Mayor of Akhtala and the national expert of the EC ′′ Agreement of Mayors-East ′′ project, Mr. Artem Kharazyan.

Tatevik Israyelyan, 2nd place in the contest of essays on ′′ How can communities help to meet global climate change challenges?" received bicycle and certificate of participation in the contest.

In addition to the winners of the competitions, the prize and the certificate for active participation in the organization of sustainable energy days was received by Ms Almast Mamajanyan from Akhtala municipality.
