On 26 February 2019 the Permanent committee on territorial, local self-government, agricultural and environmental issues of the National Assembly of RA organised a debate with participation of representatives of a number of non-governmental and international organisations and experts working with local self-government bodies.

The aim of the debate was to get acquainted with their works, directions of activities, as well as to listen to their suggestions and concerns. Head of the Committee Mr. Varazdat Karapetyan highlighted cooperation with the invited organisations and experts noting that their suggestions can be very significant during the development of legislative initiatives considering their awareness on communities' problems.
