In Artik city numerous events were held in the framework of EU Sustainable Energy Week-2024.

Interactive lessons, quiz, film watching, cultural, sport events, bike rides were held in the city which were attended by the youth of the community.

Children presented the importance of energy obtained from the sun, wind and water in an original way and with their own ideas. There was a reference to the widespread use of renewable energy resources.

It is the 7^th year Artik city joins EU Sustainable Energy Week.

In June 13 the results of the drawing contest under the slogan “Net-zero energy solutions for a competitive Armenia” were summarized.

Art exhibition-competition was held in the park named after Yuri Gagarin in Artik.

More than 100 students from art groups of eight community organizations of Artik community participated in the exhibition-competition. The event was accompanied by performances and flash mobs by dance groups of Artik's cultural houses.

The jury selected the best 3 works from almost 100 submitted pictures. 13 participants were recognized as winners in a number of nominations.

The winners of best drawings are:

Hasmik Tonoyan, Harich art center,

Marianna Gharibjanyan, Panik art center

Tamara Harutyunyan, Nor Kyanq art center.

They drawings will also participate in the drawing contest held by CoMEast project and Union of Communities of Armenia.
