The Community of Practice on political integrity and ethics in local governance was established within the framework of the “Strengthening the Communities Association of Armenia and transparent, participatory local governance in Armenia’’ project, implemented by the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe under the Council of Europe Action Plan for Armenia (2019-2022).

During the first meeting, in March 6, participants established thematic working groups, which enabled them to elaborate necessary tools with experts’ support. It will also result in a practical dialogue and consultation between national and local authorities.

The purpose of the Community is to act as the focal group for strategic localisation of national integrity and anti-corruption policies and their implementation by local authorities of Armenia.
