In June11-13 series of events dedicated to EU Sustainable Energy Week-2024 were held in Spitak enlarged community under the slogan “Net-zero energy solutions for a competitive Armenia”.

The events were attended by different generations of the citizens of community.

A thematic awareness course, an intellectual game, a quiz and a photo contest were held in the "Spitak Youth House" open youth center.

An interesting flashmob was carried organized by the dance groups of the community, in which those who wanted to participate, posted the videos of the flashmobs in the "Comments" section of the announcement.

A painting contest was held at the "Spitak Fine Arts School Educational Institution", in which those who wanted to participate also posted their works on the social media platforsm of Spitak municipality.

EU Sustainable Energy Week-2024 was concluded in Spitak community city library, where  the art exhibition was organized. The works of the drawing competition participants were presented, and a thematic discussion was held in the reading room.

 An educational video clip on the topic was shown.

 The winners of the competitions were awarded with beautiful gifts, granted by the head of the community.

 Spitak city has joined Covenant of Mayors initiative in 2014. Spitak was one of the first communities in Armenia to join the initiative.
