Congress Bureau meets online

The members of the Bureau of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities held a remote meeting on 26 May.
Emin Yeritsyan, the President of the Union of Communities of Armenia, Head of Armenian delegation to the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe attended the online meeting of Bureau.
They held an exchange of views with Ambassador Mårten Ehnberg, Permanent Representative of Sweden to the Council of Europe and Chair of the Rapporteur Group on Democracy of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe and agreed to enhance the political dialogue between the two institutions.
They appointed new Bureau rapporteurs and representatives to outside bodies and selected Congress candidates for the North-South Prize 2021.
