On February 17 elections to the local self-government bodies were held in 24 communities of Aragatsotn, Ararat, Armavir,Gegharkuniq, Lori, Kotayk, Shirak, Vayots Dzor, Tavush marzes.

In 14 communities regular elections were held and in 10 communities were extraordinary elections. According to Central Electoral Commision 63,725 registered voters participated in the election (58,47%).

In Aragatsotn marz, Ohanavan, the head of Ohanavan community was elected Edgar Hayrapetyan (600 votes), in Arevabuyr the head of community was elected Jivan Manukyan, in Urcadzor Rafik Andreasyan, in Vardashen the former head of community Gevorg Barkhoyan was elected as a head of community, in Haykavan Rouben Ghazaryan was elected as a head of community.

In Hovtamej, Armavir marz as a head of community was elected Armen Sargsyan, in Nalbandyan Grigor Mkrtchyan was elected as a head of community. In Nor Armavir the acting head of the community Arthur Avetisyan was elected as a head of community. In Vardanashen Arthur Manukyan was elected as a head of community, in Akunq the head of community was elected non-party Nikola Khachatryan.

In Vardenis temporary head of the community Aram Melqonyan was elected as a head of community. In Dzoraget also the temporary head of the community Armen Grigoryan was elected as a head of community, in Nor Geghi the temporary head of community, non-party Vardan Papyan was elected as a head of community.

In Khaghsi non-party Rafayel Grigoryan was elected as a head of community, In Shirak marz, Ashocq the temporary head of the community Karen Manukyan was elected as a head of the community. In Harich non-party Roland Nazaretyan was elected as a head of the community. In Malishka non-party Garik Nazaryan was elected as a head of community. In Tashir, Aknaghbyur, non-party Karen Dolmazyan was elected as a head of community and in Tavush, Ijevan as a head of community was elected non-party, teacher of Tsakhkavan secondary school Iskandar Mehrabyan.
