
Thematic open classes were organized with the participation of children in the kindergartens of Stepanavan municipality in the framework of EU Sustainable Energy Week-2024

Stepanavan as a signatory community of "Covenant of Mayors," initiative has joined EU Sustainable Energy Week-2024.
Series of events are being held in the community, under the slogan “Net-zero energy solutions for a competitive Armenia”․
Thematic open classes were organized with the participation of children in the kindergartens of Stepanavan municipality.
The senior group of kindergarten No. 4 of Stepanavan, teacher Gayane Melikyan, participated in the integrated training "Waste in our life".
She introduced children the polluted nature and its negative consequences for humanity and the animal world, after which she explained and commented on the ways to mitigate all this, the importance of sorting and recycling waste.
The attendee childrens of the training at the end of the training used their knowledge in practice and participated in waste sorting exercises.
In Kindergarten No.5 of Stepanavan the participants of "People and the surrounding world" environmental open lesson were the senior group children, who with the help of teacher Gayane Dokholyan, talked about nature, environmental protection, emphasizing especially the need of waste sorting and energy efficiency.
