On February 23 Oversight Committee session of the Union of Communities of Armenia was convened. During the session the results of the financial-economic activities of the Union of Communities of Armenia during 2020 were discussed.

The indicators for 2020 were monitored by the electronic form of budget execution and accountability developed with the expert support of the Council of Europe.

It has been observed that the form needs to be ammended and corrected. The results and comparisons of membership fee collection in 2020 and previous years were examined. The positive and negative impact of partial changes made by the Republican Council of the Union in 2019 on the amount of membership fees was assessed.

The Committee discussed the updated draft of the Fundraising Strategy of the Union of Communities of Armenia developed on the basis of the Union's Financial management strategy.

The results of the Union's 2017-2018-2019 audit of financial activities have been examined. The issue of conducting an audit of financial activities in 2020 was discussed.

The issues related to the activities of the statutory governing bodies of the Union during 2020 and other questions were also discussed.
