On behalf of Union of Communities of Armenia, I am glad to welcome you in our new website. The goal of the website is to introduce you to the activities implemented by UCA and different communities of RA, existing development projects, etc. Through the website you can contact UCA, ask questions, etc.

As the President of the Communities Association of Armenia, I am hopeful that this webiste will become an operational tool for all members of the Association, guiding our efforts to ensure the implementation of jointly defined objectives.

The Communities Association of Armenia is the joint and representative voice of its members in Armenia. It was founded in 1997 and gathered all urban and rural communities of Armenia. Since the introduction of the local self-government system in Armenia, our Association has played a strategic role in promoting the development of local democracy in our country. In cooperation with the Government, state agencies and other stakeholders, we have contributed to the advancement of local democracy and self-governance ensuring very visible and tangible results for our member communities.
